Smuggled pork products from Europe and the United States continue to pour into Thailand, despite the customs department claims to have strict customs quarantine measures (waste rendering plant), but the livestock department still seized 5 tons of illegal imported pork products from Germany, Argentina and other pork products in Chiang Mai earlier this month, followed by the seizure of 53 tons of smuggled pork in two cold storage facilities near Bangkok, Pho Tong and Pak Phang.
