China and Europe have launched large-scale application experiments of phages for six major livestock species under the empowerment of AI:

On November 6th, the “International Phage Technology Industry Conference” opened in Jinan. At the conference, Chinese and European enterprises signed the “China-UK-Denmark Large-scale Farming Experiment Cooperation Agreement on Phage Technology Industry”, launching an experiment covering six major livestock species including meat poultry, egg poultry, pigs, dairy cows, dairy sheep and aquatic products, targeting the prevention and control of ten pathogenic bacteria such as pathogenic Escherichia coli and Salmonella.
