Japan has suspended some meat and poultry imports from Brazil

Japan announced the suspension of imports of meat and poultry from Espirito Santo state, while products from other states were not affected, after the country’s first case of the highly pathogenic bird flu virus in poultry was found at a farm in the state, which should be treated with harmless equipment.
