Countries such as Hungary, Poland, Estonia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Moldova, Ukraine, and Romania have all reported outbreaks of African swine fever.
For instance, on September 8th, Hungary reported 5 cases of wild boar African swine fever in the Budapest area and other three regions, with 7 wild boars infected and dying; on September 12th, Romania reported 1 case of wild boar and 24 cases of domestic pig African swine fever in the Terlorman County and other five regions, with 1 wild boar infected and dying, 1427 domestic pigs infected, 162 dead, and 2137 pigs culled.
