South Africa’s ITAC says it will allow temporary tax rebates on poultry products in response to bird flu

Following confirmation of an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) by the South African Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, South African Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition Patel has proposed to the South African International Trade Regulatory Council (ITAC) the introduction of a temporary rebate on poultry products.
