Tanmiah Food Company is a mature market business offering poultry and other meat products. The company recently signed a memorandum of understanding with European poultry producer MHP. The agreement is the first step in establishing a joint venture between Desert Hills for Veterinary Services Company Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tanmiah, and MHP SE. MHP is the parent company of Ukrainia-based International Food and Agri-Technology Group.
The memorandum, which is supported by the Government of Saudi Arabia and sets out the principles for the joint venture in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 food security goals, aims to accelerate efforts to close the existing production gap in Saudi Arabia’s domestic poultry industry.
